SAR Image Scientist at Riverside Research in Dayton, OH
Riverside Research is seeking a full-time Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) Image Scientist supporting the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. You will be working with a team of Riverside Research, government, and contractor personnel using SAR analysis for scientific and technical intelligence reporting. The work is in support of both US Air Force and Intelligence Community programs. All Riverside Research opportunities require U.S. Citizenship. Job
Responsibilities:
o Independent verification and validation of SAR processing algorithms and tools o SAR algorithm development, test, and evaluation o Investigate SAR artifacts and anomalies and develop mitigation strategies o Perform radar cross section measurements on SAR image data o Translate operational needs into technical requirements; prepare supporting documentation o Support SAR analysis activities Required Qualifications:
o Active TS/SCI security clearance o Master's degree in electrical engineering, physics, or comparable technical degree. Bachelor's degree with relevant experience will also be considered. o 5
years of experience working with SAR complex image data o Proficiency developing algorithms and tools using MATLAB o Experience using SICD format data
Qualifications:
