Riverside Research is seeking a full-time Chief Scientist to support its Intelligence, Surveillance, & Reconnaissance (ISR) Services Group. The Group supports customers across the intelligence community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) via a number of contract vehicles. The Chief Scientist will be a key member of a team providing technical and experiential insights across a wide range of intelligence programs and analytic problems. Individual will be called upon to support focused studies, research projects, or time critical analytical questions, as well as provide programmatic oversight of assigned activities. The Chief Scientist will also be called upon to assist in crafting strategic initiatives and plans. This position may involve supervisory leadership of focused technical teams in areas such as machine learning/artificial intelligence, software development, etc whose responsibilities span the ISR Services Group portfolio. Responsibilities:
Provide technical and experiential insights across a wide range of intelligence programs and analytical problems Guide development of strategic initiatives or plans; provide recommended courses of action for implementation Participate in focused studies or research projects within the air, space, and cyber domains Review reports or assessments created by others; suggest edits, additional findings, or alternative solutions Provide programmatic oversight of assigned activities Provide both strategic and technical guidance to technical teams prototyping solutions for customers Required Qualifications:
Top Secret clearance with SCI adjudication Master's degree in engineering, physics, computer science, mathematics, physical sciences or related technical fields Minimum 25 years' experience working within the intelligence community; 10 of which must be at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) Self-motivated, independent, detail oriented responsible team player capable of interacting with senior leaders within the Air Force, the intelligence community, and Department of Defense Proficient in standard computer applications such as MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; strong written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications:
Doctorate degree in engineering, physics, computer science, mathematics, operations research, business administration, management, or international relations preferred Recognized subject matter expert within areas of interest to the National Air and Space Intelligence Center
Salary Range:
$250K -- $500K+
Minimum Qualification
Physical SciencesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
