The Cost Recovery Specialist is a key position working with strategic customers on their overall cost recovery goals & provide deep levels of consultation to meet those goals. Specifically, in strategic accounts as we introduce new cost recovery tools & methods to Large Markets. Additionally, provide expertise in new business situations to ensure a smooth transition to LexisNexis solutions. Their responsibility will be to build strong client relationships and provide high quality support to new & strategic customers in a manner that delivers on defined department objectives to protect/ increase LexisNexis revenues and create a wonderful customer experience. This is a fast-paced position with the opportunity to work collaboratively across multiple teams. The ideal candidate has strong interpersonal skills, is comfortable managing conflicting demands, has a proven ability to conduct deep levels of customer discovery, and has demonstrated success of presenting & implementing consultive plans to strategic stakeholders. Accountabilities Manages the customer discovery process & implementation of new cost recovery tools and methods introduced to Large Markets in 2022. Diagnose and resolve problems utilizing department tools, resources, business judgment and expertise - resulting in increased customer confidence in LexisNexis as their service provider. Initiate the escalation process for unresolved customer problems, product & process improvements, & additional customer needs in the cost recovery. Manage and coordinate new customer onboarding activities and act as the primary contact for all issues and opportunities related to the customer during the onboarding process. Receives, researches, and responds to internal and external questions on cost recovery needs. Ultimately focusing on how to provide the right answer to the root problem or question, not just the immediate answer. Drives ongoing process improvements with a focus on improving the overall customer experience. Completes special projects, as needed, to deliver on key objectives. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience 5
years' experience working with customers in consulting or customer success capacity. Preferred experience in customer accounting, finance, and/or legal industry. Passion to deliver superior client services by going above and beyond. Highly engaging with excellent verbal and communication skills. Dedication to meeting the expectations and requirements of customers and ability to gain the trust and respect of the customer. Highly motivated to work as a team player and perform as an individual contributor. Ability to work independently, manage to key deadlines and balance competing priorities. Demonstrated ability to solve routine problems independently or with moderate guidance and direction from more senior level roles.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Account Management, Corporate FinanceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
