LOCATION:
onsite in Piqua OVERVIEW Your role is to maintain inventory levels which involve manufacturing of custom designed large equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES Order materials (machined fabrications, castings, steel, electrical, hydraulic components, gears, bearings, goods, and services, etc.
) Read blueprints to specify fabrication or machined parts Enter product details of BOMs from the engineering Generate purchasing orders / RFQs Process order requisitions Work with vendors to obtain product / service details for pricing, availability, delivery schedules, and negotiate to optimal best deals Discuss defective or unacceptable goods / services with vendors and determine corrective action Maintain supplier relations to meet purchasing requirements Approve invoices for payment Maintain accurate documentation records of transactions, purchase orders, and invoices Support Purchasing Supervisor who works closely with manufacturing Plant Manager REQUIREMENTS Strategic purchasing experience in manufacturing Purchasing (parts, machined fabrications, castings, steel, electrical, hydraulic components, gears, bearings, goods, and services, etc.
) ERP / SAP system experience Blueprint reading BOM experience Materials scheduling SALARY:
$60,000 - $70,000, full benefits package, vacation, 401k.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
