Production Scheduler JOB
Summary:
The Production Scheduler plans, schedules, coordinates and monitors jobs though the complete production cycle.
Key performance objectives are:
Establishes production schedules, evaluates labor loading, and analyzes capacity requirements.
Coordinates production plans to ensure on-time delivery.
Interfaces with Customer Service, Production Management, Purchasing and Engineering to identify and resolve problems.
Communicates regularly with leadership regarding objectives, issues and the status of open projects.
Identifies training needs, initiates professional development opportunities, and recommends effective action plans.
Ensures a process of solid communications and transparency at all levels, to build trusting relationships that allow us to operate efficiently and be responsive to customer needs.
COMPETENCIES:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Detail oriented and ability to work independently.
Must be self-directed and motivated.
Flexible and adaptable to changing conditions and priorities.
Must have an excellent attendance record and complete assignments on time.
Experience:
Microsoft Office Software - Outlook, Word, Excel.
Must be strong in Excel.
ERP system experience (JobBOSS or similar).
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Minimum 5 years of planning experience preferred.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$70,000.
