Position
Summary:
Responsible for onsite construction activities including schedules, quality and budget control; coordinates in-house employees, subcontractors and material suppliers.
Conduct all inspections and walkthroughs, ensuring projects completed on time to the specifications and clients satisfaction.
Obtains necessary permits & inspections, working with local government agencies.

Responsibilities:
Complete review of assigned production folders with the Estimator Complete job site review of construction specs and/or prints prior to start Coordinate and conduct Triage, Pre-con , and weekly jobsite meetings Communicate exceptionally with clients to keep them well informed of project Excellent internal customer service and communication with coworkers Schedule and attend all permit inspections as needed Inspect all work, verify and authorize subcontractor payment Review invoices for budget accuracy and authorize payment Submit receipts, B to B paperwork and PO's consistently and on time Ensure job sites are kept clean, compliant for OSHA safety & EPA lead & mold regulations Coordinate and / or perform material takeoffs for rough & exterior materials Coordinate with purchasing all material deliveries and material returns for credit Review change orders with Estimator or Manager, verify completeness before doing the work and collect payment upfront as specified Provide signed change orders as required along with full payment as arranged in advance Participate in the GDCG Emergency Response Team Management, ERT program; understand and follow ERT policy and requirements Schedule and conduct the closeout meeting with client.
A billing recap meeting with the estimator should be done prior to the closeout meeting if needed.
Schedule and conduct final punch list walk thru with owner, and turn in signed punch list form upon completion.
Collect draw payments and assist in collections as needed Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA):
Ability to read, understand and analyze construction prints and specifications Complete working knowledge of construction and renovation including safety and building codes Ability to negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers for budget constraints; review quality of product Problem Solving -- Identifying problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.

Consistently brings assigned projects in on time and at or below budget Effectively coordinates paperwork for supplier and subcontractor payments and assist in collection of owed monies from clients Ensures that all questions from clients, production staff, sales staff, and inner-office personnel are responded to promptly and professionally Provides excellent customer service to all internal and external customers.
