READY TO START A CAREER IN HEALTHCARE? No experience required! Paid, on the job training to become a CompuNet Phlebotomist at Miami Valley Hospital 5-week phlebotomy training during Day Shift hours (will begin hired shift hours after competency).
Those who successfully complete the program will be offered a position as a Phlebotomist in Miami Valley Hospital lab locations (inpatient).
Seeking individuals with a work/school history that demonstrates good work habits, strong communication skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to adapt to the needs of a busy medical environment.
Must be 18 years or older High school diploma or equivalent Must be able to meet the typing requirement CompuNet Phlebotomy Training Program Phlebotomist is the title given to an individual who collects blood samples.
Venipuncture is the technical term for a venous blood collection.
What is the Phlebotomy Training Program? CompuNet has successfully trained phlebotomists for over 15 years.
Training is not affiliated with any school or accreditation.
The certificate earned indicates a completion of our course, it is not a degree or state certificate.
Hours & Compensation Our phlebotomy program training wage is $10.
10 per hour.
You will be expected to work the clinical rotation schedule (approx.
30-40 hours per week).
After successfully completion of training program, move to budgeted, full or part time, phlebotomy position.
Class Expectations 100% Attendance is mandatory.
Punctuality is required.
Professionalism in actions, words, and personal appearance.
Active participation.
Satisfactory completion of all assignments.
Venipuncture and exam requirements.
After Successful Completion of the Course Offered either a Full-Time or Part-Time phlebotomy position on shift interviewed for.
Commit to one year of employment with CompuNet or responsible for repayment of all training expenses.
Premier Hospital Locations Phlebotomists collect blood in patient rooms throughout the hospitals Must be able to walk 5-7 miles per day Carry a phlebotomy tray or push a cart Perform infant heel sticks Learn lab computer skills Schedule:
24/7, 3 Shifts Day Shift - 10 hour workdays Evening & Night Shift - 8 hour workdays REQUIRED to work every other weekend REQUIRED to work at least 3 Holidays per year There is an application and interview process to be accepted into the training program.
Training is provided by CompuNet staff members and will prepare you for an entry level phlebotomy position with CompuNet.
This is a phlebotomy training program exclusively for CompuNet phlebotomists and not intended for general training.
