Transportation Specialist

Job Description$16-$19/hr.
Every Saturday and Sunday 8am-5pmSummary of Job:
The Transportation Specialist position provides non-emergency transportation to and from the Program facility.
The Transportation Specialist position also serves as back-up to the Customer Service Specialist duties.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
oProvides individuals with non-emergency transportation to and from the Program site.
oEnsures the safe operation of Company vehicle.
oPerforms daily inspections of vehicle and arranges for maintenance and cleaning as needed.
oCompletes documentation regarding transportation services as required.
oAssists in completing admissions to the Program facility.
oServes as a community guide and coach/advocate working to link newly discharged individuals with housing, vocational, educational and community services.
oAssists with administrative office functions, which may include answering phones, acting as receptionist and ensuring cleanliness of the reception area.
oAssists with record maintenance and retrieval.
oAssists in the process of gathering data necessary to perform billing and audit functions as requested.
oUnderstands and adheres to RI International compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
oPerforms other related duties as assigned.

Driving Requirements:
oIf driving is required for this position, must meet all requirements outlined in RI International driving policy.
oIf not qualified to drive per driving policy, a Non-Driver Attestation form must be signed.
A Direct Service Competency Checklist must be completed as part of the new hire onboarding process.
Physical Demands:
May include work close to the eyes and substantial motions of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers.
Frequent sitting, standing, walking, handling, finger dexterity; eye-hand-foot coordination, use of corrected vision; color vision; use of auditory senses.
May be required to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
Work EnvironmentMay work in an office environment or behavioral health facility.
May have contact with individuals who are agitated and/or confused.
Work may include travel throughout the geographic region.
Recommended Skills Administration Auditing Billing Coaching And Mentoring Communication Conflict Management Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
