SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Patient Care Technician is employed by Miami Valley Hospital to enhance the nature and quality of patient care through a relationship with a Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse.
The Patient Care Technician assists the RN/LPN by performing assigned tasks for which he/she has been trained which facilitates direct care and the nursing process.
