The Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program employs Respiratory Technicians who have expertise in pulmonary specialty areas.
Their role is to integrate the components of clinician, teacher, consultant and researcher, as well as implement and supervise the physical exercise program.
Additionally, the position models responsible team membershipEducation:
Graduate of an accredited program in Respiratory Therapy.
Licensure:
Certified Respiratory Therapist with Ohio Licensure.
Certification:
Current CPR certification.
Experience:
Past experience in pulmonary clinical area.
Skills/Other:
Knowledge base in pulmonary anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology, particularly in ischemic heart disease.
Knowledge base in pulmonary physical assessment techniques.
Demonstrates knowledge base and skill in providing care to specific age groups.
Possesses team focused attributes.
Work scheduled hours as assigned.
