Responsibilities:
smooth functioning/coordination of flow of the Endoscopy Dept.
on a daily basis and the education of the Endoscopy staff.
Accurate inventory & ordering of supplies.
A multi-faceted role - assists in admitting patients, performing Endoscopy procedures, recovering Endoscopy patients, patient education & discharge teaching.
Help to maintain statistics for dept.
& PI projects.
Demonstrates leadership skills through planning and prioritizing care; advocate for Customer (Patient & Physician) as well as staff satisfaction.
Accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, applicable regulatory standards (including SGNA), and institutional policies and procedures.
BSN (or within 2 years); RN licensed in State of Ohio; minimum 3 years Med-Surg experience (prefer Advanced Care or Critical Care experience); BCLS & ACLS required; minimum 1 yr.
Endo experience; must have very good computer skills.
Able to mutli-task, use critical thinking quickly, Team player, positive attitude, flexible & able to adapt quickly in a very dynamic work environment working quickly and efficiently to keep the flow going smoothly; good communication and interpersonal skills required; strong organizational and leadership skills.
Prefer GI Certification.
Recommended Skills Adaptability Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls) Communication Critical Care Critical Thinking Flexible Working Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
