Radar/Signal Processing Engineer- Electrical Engineer / Software Engineer

, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Radar/Signal Processing Engineer to join our Dayton, Ohio office.
The candidate will join a diverse team primarily focused the modeling, simulation, and analysis (MS&A) of aerospace weapons, sensors, and related command-and-control entities.
The candidate must have interest or experience in the scientific design and computational analysis of radars (ground-based or airborne), missile seekers, and aircraft sensors.
The candidate will work with a highly technical team of engineers to design and implement firmware and software for RF software-in-the-loop (SIL) and hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) simulators.
Most of the work supports the Scientific and Technical Intelligence community (NASIC, NSIC, MSIC, NGIC, ONI) and the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Sensors Directorate.
This challenging position requires a diverse set of technical and task management skills and allows for the opportunity to contribute immediately to important, meaningful work.
Basic Qualifications Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other closely related field from an accredited institute with a minimum of 2 years of directly applicable work history or a Master's degree in a relevant field in lieu of work history.
Understanding of radar, digital signal processing (DSP), and/or RF communication theory Candidate must have strong written communication skills, possess good people skills, demonstrate strong attention to detail and have the desire to work on a highly focused technical team of engineers, analysts, and scientists.
Candidate must be a resident of the Dayton, OH area or be willing to relocate to the Dayton, OH area.
Other Qualifications Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other closely related field is a plus Solid C/C+
coding experience/abilities with understanding of object-oriented software principles Experience with RFSoC / VHDL / FPGA design practices and tools Working knowledge of radar, electronic warfare (EW), digital signal processing (DSP), ELINT, and/or SIGINT Security RequirementsCandidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Top Secret/SSBI Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Final Top Secret Clearance.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
