Lab Safety Manager

Job DescriptionUES Inc is looking for an individual to manage a team of safety officers and oversee some laboratory operations.
The team is distributed across corporate and government sites and serves a variety of needs including but not limited to wet chemistry labs, BSL-2, production sites, and scale up facilities.
Key Responsibilities Coordinate a team of safety professionals across multiple locations serving interdisciplinary laboratories and subject to differing regulations.
Administer and review standards for overall laboratory and safety functions.
Including all general housekeeping and maintenance, marking, storing, education, disposal and transmission of all documents and materials (including hazardous waste).
Implement, manage, and maintain programs to ensure a safe environment, adherence to quality, compliance, safety rules and policies in accordance with DOD, USAF, AFRL and local regulations.
Provide analytic and technical laboratory and security management support for daily operational functions.
Manage, coordinate, and communicate with internal and external organizations and agencies to assist with facilitating the day-to-day operations.
Provide training for all laboratory and safety procedures and protocols.
Travel between local sites as needed.
Requirements This position will require US Citizenship.
Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (chemistry, biology, environmental health, industrial hygiene or another related field).
8 years of laboratory or safety experience, 5 if having a master's degree.
Demonstrated strong verbal, written and presentation skills.
Proven ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
