Nature of Work The part-time deputy clerk of Council shall perform a variety of administrative and clerical duties to assist the clerk of Council in the daily operations of the Council's office, including but not limited to cemetery records, board and commission appointments, liquor permit notices, proclamations, Council meeting packets, and postings, attend council meetings as needed, record retention for all city departments, public records request, walk-in visitors, and other duties as assigned.

Education/Credential Verification 6.
Pre-Employment Drug Screening Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or GED equivalent; Two (2) years of experience in a clerical position or an equivalent combination of skills, training, and experience; Certified Ohio Notary Public or ability to obtain certification within six (6) months of hire date.
Must be computer proficient, and possess a valid current driver's license with a background that meets insurability requirements.
