Hire Up Staffing is hiring for an Inventory Coordinator position in Dayton Ohio! Educational Requirements:
Possess a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
Responsibilities:
Monitor and approve cycle counts.
Conduct audits on receiving processes.
Implement and optimize inventory control procedures.
Audit order pickers and pullers to ensure adherence to procedures.
Perform audits on offsite vendors where inventory is held.
Maintain accuracy in cycle count processes.
Discuss inventory issues with Inventory Manager.
Conduct regular shop floor walk-throughs to identify misplaced inventory.
Oversee consolidation of offsite warehouses into a central location.
Resolve overages, shortages, and damaged inventory.
Assist in resolving shipping errors.
Manage corporate SOX inventory controls.
Act as primary contact for import/export and international matters.
Ensure compliance with import/export regulations.
Maintain and organize import/export documentation.
Coordinate with Forwarders/Brokers for instructions.
Conduct internal self-audits to ensure compliance.
Stay informed about trade legislation and regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in inventory management or related field.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Knowledge of import/export regulations is a plus.
