Summary:
Responsible for abrupt equipment failure maintenance, preventive equipment maintenance, and fulfilling tasks assigned by Equipment Maintenance Manager;
NO. Representative Duties
1 Responsible for equipment reactive and preventive maintenance and lubrication; reduce equipment downtime and quantity of scraped product due to equipment issue for responsible area
2 Responsible for Mechanical repairs and some Electrical repairs of production equipment upon failures; perform reactive maintenance/fix according to equipment breakdown calls during on-duty shift, arrange work orders according to production urgency and priority;
3 Perform routine equipment inspection, identify potential failure risks and take action to prevent downtime; Make timely recommendations to supervisor for potential equipment failures
4 Actively participate in continuous improvement program; Responsible for completing reactive items, projects, and continuous improvement work orders as assigned
5 Perform complex calculations to determine standards for equipment installation
6 Assist with new equipment installation and debugging
7 Fabricate and weld equipment as needed to include, tig, arch, mig, flux wire.
8 Train production staff on equipment S.O.P. and daily equipment 5S procedures
9 Ensure company safety policies are strictly adhered to; Responsible for ensuring all actions are compliant with OSHA requirements
10 Communicate all areas of concern with supervisor
11 Responsible for compiling spare parts list needed for equipment
12 Research upgraded parts and equipment for plant operation
13 Attend weekly meeting with management staff
14 Complete work orders and downtime records for all repairs completed
15 Liaison between departments within the scope of their authority
16 Maintain equipment 5S
17 Assist equipment manufacturers and contractors as needed for equipment updates and warranty break down repairs
18 Accountable for company owned tools, equipment, and F-class consumable materials assigned to them
19 Responsible for briefing oncoming maintained shifts of daily breakdowns and equipment concerns
20 Conduct regular round of responsible areas
21 Other duties as assigned

I . Qualification
Job Requirements Language Languages spoken commonly in the workplace are English. - Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers, leadership and customers.
Experience At least two years manufacturing experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Electrowelding certificate .
Education Junior college or above, major in machinery, electric or relevant majors;
Physical Condition The employee is regularly required to stand for long periods. Duties include turning at the waist, reaching, bending, squatting and lifting up to 50 pounds. Ability to pass static strength requirements (grip)
Visual acuity including, but not limited to:
a. NEAR ACUITY - Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less. Use this factor when special and minute accuracy is demanded.
b. FAR ACUITY - Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more. Use this factor when visual efficiency in terms of far acuity is required in day and night/dark conditions.
c. DEPTH PERCEPTION - Three-dimensional vision. Ability to judge distances and spatial relationships so as to see objects where and as they actually are.
d. COLOR VISION - Ability to identify and distinguish colors.
e. FIELD OF VISION - Observing an area that can be seen up and down or to right or left while eyes are fixed on a given point.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Safety requirements for this position
are safety glasses, hearing protection and steel-toed work boots.
Other Requirements MATHEMATICAL SKILLS -
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY - Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
COMPUTER SKILLS - Knowledge of and familiarity manufacturing software.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities utilized on the job Professional Knowledge, Skills Familiar with computer operation;
Master machinery knowledge.
Familiar with glass production process;
Familiar with basic knowledge about the machinery and electrics; Ability to use AutoCAD; Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings
Familiar with the basic structure of glass production equipment;
Be familiar with equipment mechanisms, structure and functions; master knowledge and methods of equipment routine inspection, reactive and preventive maintenance and lubrication
Equipment design/installation, deal with complex problems and failure relating to electrowelding and gas cutting;
Observational ability and strain capacity;
Interpersonal skill;
Strong planning, organization and coordinate ability;
Persuasive ability.
Training Required Received professional training regarding electrowelding and gas cutting;
V. Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Safety requirements for this position, along with safety glasses and steel-toed work boots.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
