How the Accountant Will Make an Impact
The Accountant is responsible for accounting functions required for financial management and compliance to all applicable laws. The accountant will accurately and efficiently maintain and distribute financial records, payroll records, vendor payments and key dashboards. The ideal candidate will be proficient in analyzing and reporting financial data and will actively assist and communicate with business partners throughout the company regarding any financial or payroll research needed.
Essential Responsibilities of the Accountant
Maintain the financial records of the company, including posting of journal entries,
Update and analyze company and division dashboards on a weekly and monthly basis
Review of vendor invoices and processing of payments
Process bi-weekly payroll
Perform other related duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Minimum of four years' experience in an accountant role
Advanced Excel experience (proficiency with pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
Ability to pass criminal background check and credit checkEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
