Their 3 years-old daughter is a sweet and fun loving girl.
She loves to be read books, play dress up, do arts and crafts and she can be very social, and their 5 month-old daughter is very sweet and happy.
This role is ideal for someone who has a good understanding of early childhood development, and what is developmentally appropriate for young children, and for a candidate who is committed to fostering a safe environment.
This individual's responsibilities will include all aspects of child-related tasks and some light housekeeping.
Both parents are healthcare professionals, and one parent works from her home office.
This family has other household employees who offer deep cleaning services and everyone in this household is willing to offer an interruption free environment for the nanny to practice, and be engaged with their two girls.
This family is looking for a candidate who can commit long term, preferably for the next five years.
A candidate who understands the principles of gentle parenting and who is patient will fit right in.
Nanny's responsibilities include:
Planning fun and educational activities for the girls, playing outside, Pick up and drop off, Documenting their daily activities, including meals, diapers, and naps, Ensuring their safety at all times, Feeding, diapering, bathing, and following an age-appropriate nap schedule, Providing one-on-one care and fostering a trusting, emotional bond with the girls, Cleaning up after the girls, including washing cups, eating utensils, and toys, Keeping the toddler's play areas cleaned and tidy, some light housekeeping.
REQUIREMENTS:
FULLY VACCINATED (COVID VACCINATION, TDAP, and FLU ), at least 1 year of paid childcare experience, CPR, and First Aid certification, Non-smoker (does not use tobacco of any kind including e-cigarettes).
Authorized to work in the U.
S, Reliable transportation, Valid driver's license, Car insurance, Must have a clean background check.
Must be honest, responsible, proactive, reliable and punctual.
Must have high attention to details, positive attitude and strong morals and character and must respect family values.
Qualifications:
Candidates with teaching/Nanny experience or who studied Early Childhood Education are strongly encouraged to apply! Ability to communicate effectively with both the parents and children, Ability to take and provide feedback, Ability to form a strong bond with the children and patiently play with them, and ability to respond to their emotional and physical needs in a timely manner, Ability to stay longer or work over night only a few times per year.
