Engenium is hiring a Project Engineer / Systems Engineer for our client on Dayton,
ohio

As the Project Engineer you are responsible for all technical aspects of the project and lead the project team through the technical aspects of the Visual Engineering Process to successful conclusion. You work extremely closely with the Project
manager
that is assigned to the project team to achieve the successful completion of the project on time and on budget having provided the technical functionality per our contractual commitment and having met the client's expectations.
The PE for a project has the technical authority and responsibility for the overall performance of the system, including Factory testing, Site Installation and on-site training.
REQUIREMENTS
BS
computer
Science or Electrical Engineering
3 years of experience in display applications with projection and AV systems.
Hands-on familiarity with servers, interactive systems, switchers, control systems etc.
Has an aptitude for resolving complex hardware and software integration issues.
Well versed in common OS's.
Well versed in various IG architectures, configuration and limitations for both legacy and modern systems.
Competent user of various VE related application ware development solutions (assists in providing customer quality consulting on solution.)
Must be capable of integrating software and hardware for VE at an advanced integrator level for assisting sales or marketing demonstrations.
Must be able to present to large groups and be capable of communicating ideas effectively.
Must be able to guide conversation to develop requirements for the solutions.
Must provide quality schematics, validated pricing and clear documentation regarding the solution.
Must be able to manage onsite contractors to complete installation tasks
Must be able to lead design team through design process resulting in a solution that can be manufactured, transported to the installation site, installed and used reliably by the client on a day to day basis.
Must be prepared to travel up to 50% of the time.
