Lead Software Engineer - Oracle ERP / Java

This techno-functional position exists to perform business analysis, software design, and software development assignments to support and enhance Back Office Oracle applications and interfaces.
Technical Skills:
Experience in Packaged Applications is a plus (Oracle ERP preferred)
Knowledge of Oracle Database technology, Stored Procedures and Functions, PL SQL, DataStage, ETL, XML, and JAVA is important.
Accountabilities:
Assures architecture, design, and programming standards are followed for assigned applications.
Codes proficiently in the required Oracle technologies and associated languages on medium complex systems.
Performs unit testing based upon test plans generated and reports results to his/her project leader.
Writes and reviews portions of low level designs for the development of system components of medium complexity.
Ability to create low level designs from Functional Requirements.
Ability to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies through instructor led and on the job training to support career growth
Interfaces with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements.
Writes and reviews portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of simple to moderate complexity.
Finds and recommends opportunities for continuous improvement.
Ability to work with Internal Customers and to provide oversight to vendor resources when assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, math or equivalent technical discipline.
2 - 5 years' (salary adjusted accordingly) experience in IT system development Life Cycle.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to work in a cooperative team environment with internal & vendor resources.
Good Technical Knowledge (coding, testing).
Strong verbal communication and written skills.
Ability to make decisions with management approval.
Ability to provide both detail information and also summarize to a management level.
Ability to work through problems and reach a workable solution.
Ability to work in ambiguous situations on problems / project of simple to moderate complexity.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
