Dayton area components suppler is in need of a Supply Chain/Materials Planner. Duties and Responsibilities include: Generate purchase order releases based on MRP System demands. Manage vendor on time delivery performance. Input production schedules into MRP System. Prepare releases to outside process vendors. Coordinate activities with outside process vendors. Perform cycle counts. Resolve inventory discrepancies. Publish schedule compliance reports. Input scrap material reports into MRP System. The candidate must have experience in an MRP environment and with lean manufacturing. Must also have strong written and verbal communication skills. The candidate will need to be comfortable using Microsoft Excel and Word. Experience with the procurement of electronic components is a plus. The salary range for this position is $50K - $55K.
