Controls Engineer

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
Intermediate level position in the Industrial Automation & Machine Control field which includes the engineering, design, programming, implementation, and testing of electrical control systems of automated equipment.
GENERAL
Responsibilities:
o Responsible for implementing controls design of customer specific equipment
o Designs and creates electrical control schematics using a CAD system (AutoCAD 2010)
o Creates bill-of-materials in ERP system (Made2Manage)
o Develops clean-sheet PLC and HMI programs
o Supports the electrical assembly shop during the build process
o Actively participates in debug and functional testing of equipment
o Provides technical support for installed equipment base
o Provides field support as required for equipment installation and service
o Provides support to Controls Staff as required
REQUIREMENTS:
o Intermediate level position requires in-depth knowledge and understanding of electrical engineering concepts and procedure.
o Ability to lead and manage multiple controls projects
o Experience with multiple PLC/HMI platforms (AB, Omron, GE, Mitsubishi)
o Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic circuits
o Ability to select and size electrical components per industry and customer standards
o Knowledge of industrial electrical standards (NFPA 79, UL 508, NFPA)
o High-Level programming language experience a plus (C++, VB, C#)
o Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
o 15% travel
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
B.S. degree in engineering or equivalent education/experience.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
3-5 years of experience with increasing responsibility and demonstrated leadership skill in controls engineering of automated capital equipment or special machinery.
Pay: Based on
Experience: $65K - $80K

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
