Description
The Configuration and Data Management Support specialist will provide full spectrum technical support for various USAF acquisition programs within the Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance and Special Operations Forces (ISR/SOF) Directorate, Air Force
Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio.
Essential Job Functions:
Assist with performing Configuration and Data Management tasks related to the development, production, and support of various weapon systems and items of equipment acquired by ISR/SOF Directorate and the ISR Sensors and FMS Division.
Responsibilities will include Configuration Management Support in four CM disciplines:
Configuration Identification, Change Control, Status Accounting, and Audits.
Assist with performing a wide range of configuration and data management tasks related to the development, production and support of various weapon systems and items of equipment acquired by the Government.
Tasks will include the full range of Configuration Management (CM), Data Management (DM), Engineering Data Management (EDM), and Deficiency Report (DR) actions required for individual program systems, IAW governing DoD, USAF, AFMC, AFLCMC, Directorate, Division,
and Branch-level directives, policies, and guidance.
Requirements
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
High School/GED plus thirteen (13) years of experience. Candidates with an Associate's degree plus seven (7) years of experience, a Bachelors plus five (5) years of experience or a Masters and four (4) years of experience will also be considered.
Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information:
Top Secret clearance (SSBI within the past five years) with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI-DCID
6/4) eligibility on the first day of employment.
Desired Skills:
Experience with US Air Force sensor programs for manned and unmanned aircraft.
