The Sales Execution Manager is responsible for sales execution against Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Wal-Mart, & Target business to achieve maximum sales volume and margin consistent with sales projections and goals.
The preferred candidate will be a highly motivated, personally accountable, professional who possesses the skills necessary to proactively and positively impact the DPSG, Wal-Mart and Target business. The position will deliver DPSG (Dr Pepper Snapple Group) total and customer-specific volume, gross sales, net sales, mix, margin and profit objectives for company-owned DSD (Direct Store Delivery) and W/D (Warehouse Direct) portfolio through operator sales calls and in store execution.

Core Responsibilities
1. Deliver DPSG total and customer-specific volume, gross sales, net sales, mix, margin and profit objectives for company-owned DSD and W/D portfolio through operator sales calls and in store execution
2. Guarantee operational execution at Regional, Market, and Store levels of Wal-Mart and Target
3. Build strong relationships with Wal-Mart, Regional and Market Managers and their operational teams
4. Develop and sell programming and events; assuring execution of all initiatives
5. Partner with Category Management and Revenue Margin Management (RMM) to create detailed business reviews and programming
6. Sell retail activity with these compelling selling stories, based on detailed research, to retailer business unit / regional / market management
7. Communicate frequently as part of larger collaborative National Account teams to ensure complete understanding of current programs and implications at retail communicate this information throughout DSD sales organization
8. Work closely with National Account teams who are impacting store execution
9. Work with Business Unit (BU) GMs to track executional results at Region Branch & Market level for Wal-Mart and Target and provide program post analysis as necessary
10. Develop, sell, and drive W/D merchandising events within retailer markets / regions
11. Coach and Train sales teams to effectively sell Wal-Mart and Target at the market an store level
Beneficial Skills
Current Wal-Mart relationships and demonstrated experience calling on Wal-Mart Regional & Market Managers
2. Ability to penetrate Wal-Mart operational structure to establish & build long-term relationships
3. Proven experience securing in-store execution at Wal-Mart and Target
4. Deep understanding of DSD route to market
5. Account selling experience deep understanding of external dynamics (e.g., consumer behavior, competitors, partners)
6. Positive, collaborative, fact-based and purposeful style that engages broader organization
7. Strong 1-on-1 and Group Presentation skills

5 years of DSD Sales and Operations with Beverage Industry and/or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sales experience
1 year people and process management experience within a sales organization
Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office:
PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Must have valid driver's license and motor vehicle report that meets company standards
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
