SUPERVISORY FOREIGN MILITARY SALES ANALYST

As a SUPERVISORY FOREIGN MILITARY SALES ANALYST at the GS-0301-13 some of your typical work assignments may include:
Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the unit activities to ensure that the Letter of Offer and Acceptance (LOA) process complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Establishes policies and procedures for accomplishment of LOA development and processing requirements. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities, advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management. Represents the agency with various stakeholders within the Security Cooperation community. You may qualify at the GS-13 if you fulfill the following
Qualifications:
A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service:
Planning, organizing, and directing the activities to ensure that the Letter of Offer and Acceptance (LOA) process complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Representing the agency with various stakeholders within the Security Cooperation community. Establishing policies and procedures for accomplishment of LOA development and processing requirements Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
