In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Clerical and Administrative Support Positions. Salary Ranges includes local market supplement This is a GG-05 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-05 duties for the Technician/Administrative Support work category are at the Entry/Developmental work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-05 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job. SPECIALIZED
Experience:
Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include:
knowledge of facility maintenance operations in secure spaces, escorting uncleared personnel, and organizational structure/function in a secure environment typically gained through previous training or experience. Note:
Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experienced gained in another government agency. OR EDUCATION:
Successfully completed 4 years above high school in any field for which high school graduation or the equivalent is the normal prerequisite. This education must have been obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university. NOTE:

Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Knowledge of LGM organization and the NASIC facility to provide routine security information and make referrals. Knowledge of personnel security procedures to ensure those being escorted only gain access to authorized areas. Knowledge of one or more automated databases associated with a specific security function to input information and produce a variety of documents and reports. Ability to operate various access and intrusion detection systems. Ability to organize work, follow instructions, and provide support to multiple ongoing projects. Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of individuals using a high degree of tact and diplomacy. PART-TIME OR UNPAID
Experience:
Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. VOLUNTEER WORK
Experience:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
