LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DS-04 pay band (GS-11/12 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Planning, analysis, and execution necessary to create and establish aviation - ship integration supportability policies and procedures for major aviation systems that operate at sea; 2) Reviewing plans and products to ensure that they meet program afloat/shipboard needs. 3) Managing project/program requirements, objectives and metrics, and resolving conflicts among schedules, funding, and resources; 4) Identifying opportunities to incorporate process improvements and best practices utilizing customer feedback, internal and external audits, self-assessment, and lessons learned activities; 5) Advising management and colleagues on difficult problems, conducting special studies, proposing options and alternatives, and representing a command.
