THE PRACTICE:


Dynamic physician-owned and -led orthopaedic managed service organization seeks a fellowship-trained, board-certified, or board-eligible Sports Medicine Orthopaedic Surgeon to join a premier practice-partner in Ohio. Orthopaedic Institute of Dayton (OID) is the region's leading provider of expert musculoskeletal care which serves the needs of its patients through a team of highly trained sub-specialists who are committed to the independent practice of medicine. With four main offices located in Dayton, Tipp City, Miamisburg, & Kettering, OID has (10) sub-specialty physicians, 7 mid-level providers, MRI facilities, an outpatient surgery center, and 2 rehabilitation suites. As an essential part of our sports medicine service line, our ancillary offerings include advanced imaging and rehabilitation for the complete care of the patient.


OID provides care to patients throughout the Dayton Region, including an immediate drawing area of approximately 1.7M
in the surrounding counties and an additional 500,000
in our satellite catchment areas. To better care for these communities, OID seeks a physician to continue the development of our strong sports medicine service line.


JOB
Qualifications:


  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
  • Valid board certification or eligibility
  • Must be fellowship-trained
  • Current state medical license and in good standing
  • Proven experience as a sports medicine specialist
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical skills with the ability to develop effective treatment plans
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team
  • Empathy, compassion, and a patient-centered approach to care
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment and manage multiple priorities
