This 53 has 59,000 miles and is equipped with the original 6-cylinder Blue Flame engine that produces 150hp mated to a two speed powerglide automatic transmission.
Because of the short production run the 53 model is the rarest of all Corvettes.

This 1953 Chevrolet Corvette is well known in the Corvette community as once having been owned by Sam Folz of Kalamzoo, Michigan, one of the seven founding fathers of the National Corvette Restorers Society.
During the more than 20 years in Mr.
Folz' ownership, this Corvette earned a plethora of awards.
Also, it was featured in a Chevrolet-produced promotional film released in conjunction with the debut of the new C4 Corvette to celebrate 30 years of the Corvette.

91 underwent a comprehensive restoration in 1997.
Restoration was done by Jeff Bernhardt, owner of Restoration Station in Dayton, Ohio and a 12 year Bloomington Gold Judge.
Less than 50 miles have been driven since completion of restoration.
This 1953 Corvette's documentation includes the copy of the original invoice and photographic records of restoration.
The engine number LAY341018 matches the copy of the original dealer invoice.
Original side curtains included.
It has been featured on the cover of The Corvette Restorer Magazine Volume 10, No.
1 Summer 1983 and has received the Award of Excellence at Concours d'Elegance Dayton, Ohio.
